Hello guys.
It's been a while since I chatted. So forgive me if this topic is not in the right topic for something like this.
Anyway I stumbled across a problem with Traxx... I am having ACCESS VIOLATION every time when I test the track in the game.
What I tried...
- Use Traxx and export from the hard drive instead of flash drive
- RECREATING the track from scratch
- Open Traxx with permission and export it with permission
- Restarting the laptop
- Renaming the track's in-game name
- Renaming the track's FILE name.
- Having adding or removing models
... I can't think of anything else I haven't tried yet.
And if I try running the game as Admin, it would work but the AI trucks doesn't want to race properly...
I am beyond frustrated and mind-blown at this pesky error.
Does anyone know how to fix this?
Can anyone help?
Should somebody make a NEW track making program so everything's up to date?
I'm the creator of the Army Armstrong voice model on Uberduck.ai.
But Uberduck.ai removed all the contributed voices so that site sucks now. Will re-upload it soon!
If anyone uses Zmodeler and exports them as bin files, make sure they're not corrupted, all I did was export the bin file from Zmodeler again and import it in BinEdit, then have all faces selected and change them all to either 0x29 Shiny Texture (MTM2) for MTM2 tracks OR 0x18 Normal Texture (MTM1) for MTM1 tracks, and the problem went away immediately. And it is good practice to always have a backup of your track's TRAXX project file before adding the new models you created from Zmodeler.
This new solution needs be added on that page for those who are created models from Zmodeler for their tracks. ^^
I hope the site owner can add my problem for those track/model makers who are dealing with the access violation and my solution on how i fixed it.
Have a great day everyone!
