hi all,
i was looking at converting some trucks and testing them to do so but i came up with the "Access Violation" error. no i dont believe its one of the ones listed. for this truck had over 15000 faces and over 10000 verts. i was just testing to see what would happen with that many verts/faces. to see if mtm2 could handle it. i guess not. lol.

so phin i think u can safely add that too the list also :)

Many years ago, I wanted to drive "Beer Foot" www.gameroom.com/clawfford/beerfoot.html but I received an Access Violation. They said I needed to be 21 to access Beer Foot.

this is how it went with my jeep wrangler. bigdogge helped me by deleting lots of faces and stuff. the jeep worked with 3d fx but not normal 3d.

Access violation is pretty general. U get that error in any program or on a graphing calc - It's an umbrella error. Kinda like address error and illigal op etc.

I always figured it was a fancy general protection fault, I mean a blue screen just wouldn't enhance the MTM2 experience. J

I believe it's FACE COUNT that causes the crash.

When I was experimenting with the jeep, I tried merging vertices, with no effect on the crash. Only after deleting faces (by removing several ultra-detailed objects within and upon the model) was I able to get it to run in Direct3D mode.
