i think you should reinstall mtm2 (you have been having many problems) what program do you use to pod your files?

do you use a pod compressing program?

Do you have all stock files podded?

Whynni's tracks are generally 'podzipped', a process that removes all stock game files from a pod in order to reduce it's size. Podzipped tracks and trucks require the stock pods to be mounted.

Thanks for that useful piece of info Wint... I NOW know why I'm getting "bad texture" messages when trying to clone Whynni's tracks in Traxx. I guess I'd better remount those stocks. ;)
A little note on the Download page stating "All stock tracks must be mounted to run this track" would be useful.

Good question Levi.

Glad to help Emcee. I often 'view' tracks with Traxx but when they load up looking all wrong it's a sure sign the pod is missing required files (I too experienced this when checking out Whynni's latest).

I haven't actually used it yet but there is: <a href=http://mtm2.com/~tracks/tracks.cgi?search=podzip&track=on target=podzip>podzip.pod</a>

Quote:
This is not a track. Rather, for those people who like to unmount the stock tracks but who don't like getting the bad texture size or missing model errors on tracks that have been podzipped, then place this at the top of the pod.ini file in the same way you would use the fix pod. Then, you should be able to unmount any stock track without fear of error.

Mount it like any other pod, it doesn't really matter where it's at in your pod.ini

If I had known what exactly Podzip does, I would have mentioned it in the readme.txt. Thanks for the info! I thought the program just compressed the .pod like a zipfile does. I also used podzip for Whynni's Ride.
