Following mtm2dude's lead, this is a farm road re-texture job on CrashCart's recent release of Up 'n' Over. And, while he did heed Cope's suggestion about a readme.txt file, he did not make any other corrections, including the short to cp3, and, in fact, he misplaced cp1 so that now you must swing extremely wide on the turn to make it register. There's a lot of enthusiasm here, but not much in the patience department. A single beta test should've picked up the cp error no problem.

A tip for new track makers. If you opt not to use beta testers, then wait until you think you're finished, then run your track for a minimum of twenty non-stop laps, preferrably more. If you have to stop to fix something, then reset the counter and go for twenty all over again. There's just no excuse for this kind of over-sight. You just didn't test to see if you could complete a lap.

Future reference. What's in the past can stay in the past, but we have control over the future. I mentioned it because I'm sure you were unaware. Now all's fine.

Agree, Phin. Only after you scrutinize your work for errors should you turn it over for beta testing. This track doesn't have a high model content, thus the flaws I posted in the The Beta Room could have easily been picked up by a "post production" run-through (so to speak).

If anyone makes a post in the Beta Room asking for testers to provide feedback on their work, they'll get more input than they possibly need...and that's ok. The purpose is to offer you input and suggestions so that you can make improvements to your work. Furthermore, you probably learn something in the process. By all means keep making tracks, however, consider tempering your desire with a little patience in the form correcting the most obvious flaws, then seeking input from others. It'll pay dividends in the end, I assure you. Image
