Noting that you've just replied to a topic that's been dormant for nine and a half years, I think my original intent was to highlight tracks that used the available terrain to it's fullest, but with an emphasis on any kind of extensive off-course explorable and 'secret' areas (something that used to ...

Howdy. Welcome.
MTM2 drag tracks are made and used by fans of real life monster truck motorsports, they are used primarily in online competitions that are timed and judged by the players themselves. Since drags are not a legitimate MTM2 game mode the tracks themselves generally have no checkpoints ...

Cool. I agree with all you've said about Spybot Search and Destroy by the way, the author is right near the top of my genius appreciation list and I recommend his software wholeheartedly, it's precisely the sort of free software that free software should be and any compensation that's been sent his ...

> may i suggest hitmanpro
You may. But at the risk of offending you: I strongly advise against it's use. It bundles together at least a dozen different freeware and commercial programs, many of which a person may not want or need, some of which are simply trial versions. This program is a disaster ...

If you right-click on Player.pro and view it's properties is the 'read only' box checked?
When I set my Player.pro to read only and try to to start mtm2 I get an error that says "Runtime error! Abnormal program termination". This is what I see on Win98, I suspect you have the XP version of the same ...

Umm, if it's not too late please ignore what I said about monster.ini, at this point I can't guarantee a newly spawned one would be as good as an installed one. I probably shouldn't have mentioned it. [nyuk]

It's okay, but when you're looking for help it's generally best to give as much information as possible at the start, like stating what you've tried (you did mention installing), what you may know, when the game worked or when it stopped working - perhaps even providing clues about what might have ...

It's not an MTM2 error, it's a generic Windows error (possibly specific to XP) and there appears to be no single solution to avoiding it. It sounds like a fancy way of saying 'your program has crashed'.

Very cool VS. I've watched MOD.wmv a few times now. Using the sounds of actual monster trucks (and crowd sounds etc.) and synchronising them with the in-game footage was brilliant. Some scenes (like the Grave Digger sequence) were pretty cool and the overall editing was great, my only complaint is ...

I've been meaning to ask Slayer what he considers some of his best work to be,
and to ask if all Slayers are he.

The term 'map' has unfortunately turned into a generic one for all game levels but I believe old ben here means a literal picture or map of a completed track.
Firstly ben, you might check out the PDF packed inside rocketalces Castle Nugget track, which is one of the most impressive and should read ...

There are some animated models scattered through the MTMG and Malibu350 inventories. There are also some custom models scattered through a few tracks out there but I don't have anything in particular to recommend.

First of all welcome aboard, I'm always glad to see a new track maker.
I've noticed that scale is often misjudged by new track makers. If I may I'd just like to post some rough, unfinished, unpublished notes from a Traxx terrain tutorial I've had on the back burner for some time now, I think it may ...
