The problem is the same thing. If the local IP address to your computer has changed for any reason - even just a reboot can do it if you use DHCP - then the router settings need to be updated to reflect that change. Whoever helped set you up before should be able to fix it again quite easily.

Yes. Or, at least, that's what it sounds like to me. Just reset the router DMZ and you "should" be ready all over again.

Like before, you have to find out what IP your computer is now using. On this page, more than three quarters of the way down, you'll find "Troubleshooting 4.1 - Router Setup - DMZ Host" which will explain how to get your ip number.

http://mtm2.com/~mtmg/zone.shtml

You can also get the ip number from the command line or by using microsoft's utility.

ipconfig from the command line

IPConfig Utility

If you want to solve these problems once and for all, you can think about turning DHCP off in your router and assigning a static ip number to all computers on the network.

thanks for helping each and everytime. i hate when it says its renewing my ip address then my computer screwes up..and tonight, it got me good in racing....i had trouble seeing people type, they were double posting, and some wasnt even moving. even tho i fought back, i won racing beating greeny but when we BTM, it started to get me. i got lefted in multi-player 3 times in a row...so they wouldnt let me try again, so i had to leave. i just hope i can get this thing over once in forall before PPRL starts, if i dont get this fixed before saturday, i wont make PPRL....
