Isn't it manditory to show a picture of your upload? If it isn't, it should be.

You're selling a product people, giving it away actually, but who's gonna buy your product if you stick it in a black box marked "TRUCK".

Screenshots are so easy, if you can build a truck, a screenshot, is like picking your nose, you already have the tools, all keyboards have the "Prt Scr" button. Doesn't have to be some elaborate 5000 ft above sea-level, ultra air shot, just take a pic of it in Binedit, something, anything...

Just tired of looking at all these new uploads of trucks, and no pic, it's annoying.

Blame Phin's connection too lmao. He has been unable to take pics for new tracks and trucks. I told him I could help he was like "nah".

Trucks on page 112
Trucks with pictures 89 (79%)
Trucks without pictures 23 (21%)

PM Customs is absolutely correct, but guys try to upload Bitmaps and all sort of other garbage, and, as a result, the truck gets uploaded without an image.

Kmaster is also correct. I haven't been able to tend to things the way I normally would.

And of course Rep Fan is correct too. Unfortunately, who can do anything if guys can't use a very simple system that has been working for years and years.

Seriously? do you guys use Microsoft Paint to paint your trucks? I hardly think so, PSP has options, there is no reason to save them as Bitmaps, save em as JPG's.

Should write it into the script Phin, if you want to upload a truck, gotta have a pic with it, or it cancels the whole upload out. It's like going to the grocery store, you have the 50 bucks, but if you don't have the change, your stuff gets put back on the shelf.

I disagree, yeah, taking a screenshot of your truck is no big deal and its annoying when a truck doesn't have any pic, but making it mandatory? nah. I used to upload my repaints with no screenshot so Phin could "surprise me" with his "photographic skills".

By the way, MSpaint can save drawings and photos in JPG format too.

That's not his job, it's the job of the uploader.

Phin has better things to do, like running the site. He shouldn't have to worry about that too.

If people don't know how, I can show them, if it's just a matter of being lazy and letting someone else get it for them, that I have a problem with.

If you're going to run a mile, why stop 5 feet from the finish and have someone carry you across the line?

Like I said, that's your opinion.

- It's no ones job, it's not Phin's job nor the uploader. I never said it was Phin's job, neither I'm lazy. I just like Phin's screenshots. I even volunteer to help him taking screenshots and he said no. (Probably cuz I got enuff work to do with the MTM1 tracks shots)

- It's just an optional thing and it should stay that way. Since the final "goal" is just simply to make a truck, not make a truck and take a screenshot of it.

Besides, a mandatory screenshot is just reducing my freedom to upload a truck with no picture. So..

Look, all I'm saying is, that it's annoying. I see a cool name, for a truck, and I'd like to see what it looks like, unlike most, I don't wanna rob anything off of it, I just wanna see the competition.

How's that for honesty? Do what you guys want, and I don't care what people use to paint with, that wasn't the point. Use Crayons for all I care.

I'm done with this, I think I made my point. If not, I can elaborate... I can go till Phin hits me in the head with a hammer, but I won't, cuz last time, that hurt really bad.

If it means anything, the ability to upload pictures was provided because, uh, pictures are a nice guideline to help would-be downloaders... and they're cool to look at too. So there's no real reason not to do one.
