I'm addicted again!!

Post by dRod »

God help me, I spent 15 hours updating the last track I ever made for MTM 1....The Storm. You'd think in 15 hours I'd have changed something! jj

I'll be posting my new old track sometime soon, just gotta figure out how...hmmm.....

Check it out, it's alot of cosmetic changes and fixes (for mtm2) but I spent some time on it. Have fun.

Awesome! I'm gonna check it out now. Good to see you back, I've always said, and still do, in my top 10 fave tracks of all time, Storm was always in there.

I came on here the other day and at the bottom of the page, under "newest member" I saw dRod, and thought I was seeing things, glad to have you back.

yeah thanks rep, it's been like 10 years now. After I made the storm I didn't stick around at all to even race on it with anyone really, and I left this whole thing behind me. It's nice to come back and hear that people enjoyed that one. I didn't change too much on this version, just some models....I didn't have the patience to get paco to work again after doing .sit clone (this is my first time using traxx), so he is gone. Mostly I fixed the problems with transparencies and got rid of the rainy backround, instead leaving it to MTM 2 to create the rain. Unfortunately traxx does not let you use .mod music files so the great music I had on the first one is gone :( I didn't want to use a 40mb wav file as music either so I ended up putting no music.

Traxx will place the *.mod file in the correct MUSIC directory. Or at least, if v1.4 doesn't then Traxx version 1.5.12 beta will. Then you just change the number at the top of the LVL file to a number 3. If it's a hassle reassembling the pod, mtm podview will do it all with a simple right click of the lvl file.

Track has been removed from page. Please just use a different zip file name so you don't get the "file already exists on server" message when you upload again.

Sorry.

Mod files are an electronic music format that are small in size but big on range. They are versatile, can create amazing sound, and are fun to play around with. MTM1 used them but for some reason they were abandoned for MTM2, which is unfortunate. My last half dozen 'circuit' tracks all used mod files for the track music.
