Just noticed something in WINPOD

I dont know if anyone knows this but in WINPOD if you right click on an file you can view them.I accidentelly right clicked on a file & voila i found that you can do quite q few things with a mouse click.
I just thought that WINPOD could extract/make pod files. Here is what i found out for use who didn't know about it like me.

Right click on an ACT....

You can view the index of the palette but you cannot edit it

Right click on a RAW....

You can view a RAW (64x64 or 256x256).It even loads the palette for the RAW

Right click on a BIN....

You can examine a BIN to see what textures it uses.Very handy if you want to extract ONE BIN from a POD.

Right click on any file....

There is a search feature which is VERY useful indeed. All sorts of complicated search options that are very easy to use.

I dont have a clue if anyone knows about this.Even in the MTMG it never mentions these extra WINPDO functions in any help files.

I was always wondering why WINPOD had a biggish file size when it was very basic & nearly the same as the MDMRE pod maker/extractor yet its file size was 3 times bigger.

I haven't tried all the features alot yet but i have had a bit of a go on all of them.Try the search one its very handy

blackwind if your reading this....

Why dont you try putting some of these features into your next version of PODium then everyone will be using PODium instead of WINPOD.

I myself was using PODium but when i found these features i got drawn back to WINPOD because of these features.SO try & put these features & even more into PODium.Especially the view & search options

Not a bad idea. I'll see what I can do for the next version.
