Still Phinny, i always wanted to push you off the road live and intentionally.
I know i am doing that with my blind corners but still it's not as fun as when i am pushing you and you get mad and start to talk trash and... oh wait, that's Preacher Image

I turned-off my XP firewall the first week, after going to GRC.com and testing it against their security probe test (free). It didn't pass all the tests.

I've used Zonealarm Pro since then...

You can test you firewall security by going to https://grc.com/x/ne.dll?bh0bkyd2

> RIGHT-click your connection icon and select PROPERTIES.

I don't have a properties option. I didn't even know xp had a built in firewall. Which brings up another point. Alp's got a linksys router with a hardware firewall.... as do I. One day I'll figure it out.

Also, I have one profile only. And I don't know the passwords anymore (I know, cuz I tried last night).

One day I have to bookmark that. Every time I see it, I mean to then never do for some reason K

These are the instructions I followed to disable it on XP-pro:

To enable or disable Internet Connection Firewall

Open Network Connections
Click the Dial-up, LAN or High-Speed Internet connection that you want to protect, and then, under Network Tasks, click Change settings of this connection.

On the Advanced tab, under Internet Connection Firewall, select one of the following:

To enable Internet Connection Firewall (ICF), select the Protect my computer and network by limiting or preventing access to this computer from the Internet check box.

To disable Internet Connection Firewall, clear the Protect my computer and network by limiting or preventing access to this computer from the Internet check box.

To open Network Connections, click Start, point to Settings, click Control Panel, and then double-click Network Connections.
You must be logged on as an administrator or a member of the Administrators group in order to complete this procedure. If your computer is connected to a network, network policy settings may also prevent you from completing this procedure.

If you clear the Protect my computer and network by limiting or preventing access to this computer from the Internet check box, the firewall on your computer is disabled, and your network is vulnerable to intrusions.

You should not enable Internet Connection Firewall on virtual private networking (VPN) connections or on client computers because ICF will interfere with file and printer sharing.

ICF cannot be enabled on the private connections of the Internet Connection Sharing host computer.

Internet Connection Sharing, Internet Connection Firewall, Discovery and Control, and Network Bridge are not available on Windows XP 64-Bit Edition.

I was on there Wed. night. Didn't see anyone else there, I had a nice long coversation with Cope, and Alpine. It was fun, I didn't do any racing but it was cool to shoot the wind with those guys.

It didn't seem as bad as it was the last time I was on there, so maybe I'll start swinging thru there more often.

Next time I'll bring my driving gloves.

Yeah! LMAO! I kinda thought that was funny too, lol. What's sa matta Copey? Are ya yella?

He was probably pretending to be working or something.

Just messin' bro, lol.

It WAS cool seeing all the others there though, HAC, Mal, Phin, Demi, etc. It was alot of fun, I didn't do any racing, but all the trash talking more than made up for it. lol It was a great time.

I talked to Cope later on, yeah... he was working... I think. That's what he called it anyway.

Hehe yeah go ahead and yuck it up, RF. I've been thru the wringer in the past several days with computers, work, kids,...The Warden lol. COPEY's back in action now, and I'm even sporting a fresh format and OS upgrade, so yeah I'm all set!

Gotta few $1.85 tracks to review (Wk's and Mal's lol), some updates to make here at MTMG, as well as on our site, then I'll be rdy to hit the tracks again. Well, as soon as I install all those dang track lists lmao.

Good to be back on my feet again, so let's get together some time soon, gang! Maybe this weekend some time. Image

*Sniff, Sniff*

mmm, I smell newbies!

Hello all, Drive2Survive informed me of this board and the oh mighty BAD311 has returned :-) My unfinished "Monster-Style Skydome" will be on Vales.com in the coming days as my "Farewell" track, and perhaps I'll be at a MTM2 Reunion whenever there is one.

Also... Please hope for MTM3... Right now it does not look to good on it's future :( Better pick up a copy of Monster Jam Maximum Destruction!
