Well it only took me four years but I'm happy to announce that you can not only just see over 1400 preview pics of tracks and trucks I've collected over the years as fav's of mine but you can now download them too, and all from the same page, what a concept lol.... up until recently I just haven't had the space to store all those files.... thanks to Phin and Cope for uploading the files on their high speed connections or it would have been another four years uploading with my 56K'er

In addition to the downloads I've redone my fast laps pages, which is now indexed and accessible by clicking on any lap time displayed at trackshots, by clicking the time you'll bring up the FL page to the area of the track you're interested in, which will display the track, track author, lap time (if available), racers name, and the preferred garage settings for that particular track.

I will be updating all the laps times over the next few days, so if you have anything to either fill in the gaps with or something faster by all means send it over to malibu350@karf.net ... or simply zip up a copy of your 'MTM2 High Scores' file found in the Monster Truck Madness 2 folder and send it to malibu350@karf.net , no need to type a single word lol now how easy is that... yet another option would be to make use of the racing forum here and start a track time topic like at Obe's old forum... one way or another I'd like to get all the blanks filled in as far as lap times go and preferably not with my own lame times it just looks too self serving heheh, but I think that the times displayed on the page gives some valuable info for the track browser who may simply be looking for a track that runs at a specific lap time and not so much just a low mark to aim for.

thanks

Excellent work, Mal. Your page has always been a great resource, and it's been an inspiration for many of the things I've done. And now you've gone and pushed it over the top. Fantastic job!

mtm2dude, I was undecided what one to include. Here's what I'd like you to do. Decide which is your all time favorite, or the one you think is your very best, then write up a description for it and post it in track talk. I'll take it from there.

Indeed it's very well organize and therefore extremly easy to find what you're looking for. Great job

Back in the day - when i was actually playing mtm2 - good times :'( - i got a 3 min flat on Cape hatteras. My favorite track. I raced two perfect laps in front of YM himself and then i crashed and he got by and i never had a chance to catch up.
That was when i got my fastest lap. His fastest was also 3 min flat. He said it was the best lap he had ever done.
I have no idea what my settings were - sorry.

Humm.. You must be confusing with another track. according to my hall of fame www.slojumper.com 3 min flat is 39 seconds off the best times i've seen done by some of the best lapers around. Unless you were using a short taht cut almost 1/4 of the track (doubt that).

Who did u see that time from?
I know i raced some perfect laps and i doubt that they were 4 flat cause there would be no way to cut 20 sec off my lap.

in your first post you said '3 min flat' which is not possible on cape hatteras unless you foud a way to fly over the mountain tops lol... if you meant 4 min flat then yes that's a good time but not quite the best I've seen, which would be 3:34.09 by Fly... that time was verified by the fact it was taken directly from his high scores file which cannot be altered.
my best is probably around 3:50 lol it's a tough track to get perfect.
