Great work there! Excellent setup of main 98, 99, ect. I got 2 of the three tracks i was looking for, seems the other is in '99 (who'da thought?) Through getting the tracks I've actually noticed something.... my creativity was more present where I would not try to make it to complex for myself. Heh one of the tracks that I made had 4 textures and 8 models. The models were all trees (not properly set) and the start line and checkpoints. I'm going to remake these with tweaked terrain and more pleasant looking textures. Thanks and keep up the good work!

From the using standpoint, it should be fine. However, the w3c link checker doesn't work on this kind of page so I'd appreciate if anybody could take a glance around to look for mistakes, or do a few random clicks to see if anything is not working. The review links are not lost; they're just not showing at this stage (no point worrying about reviews unless the pages work and the links are good).

Still to come will be searches. Some back end admin stuff. Then a way to add to it. And how about mtm1 tracks?

when I posted the list it was simply that, just a list... never intendend or imagined them all to be online again but have no complaints whatsoever :o)

Some were fixed versions, some were straight reuploads, and some were simply duplicates. When I created the database, I tried to weed these sorts of things out... obviously I missed a few. Thanks for the eagle eye. I hope I got them all now.

I found a couple extras while searching for these. And interestingly, the hole was NOT on the 2000 page. All fixed up now though.

I don't rat pack, and my accounting isn't nearly as accurate as you imagine. Some files had duplicate names (Mountain.zip, mountain.zip, MOUNTAIN.zip, etc) which is fine on unix but not on windows. I'm afraid I lost a few that way and there's prolly traces of it still in the list. Also, the contest and collectable 99 disks each have things not included here... but I'll not be sifting and sorting any time soon. I'm still trying to decide what's the best system over all... short of stocking every single thing ever made. I still have 150 unidentified mtm1 tracks, another mtm1 disk I haven't even looked at. A couple hundred mtm2 tracks not listed. And then there's the old rumbles. I'm always open to suggestions. I get some of my best ideas that way... So, lemme know what's on your mind and we'll see where we can take it.

Let's see if I can do this without hurting my brain.

First, there was the hidden, unlinked pages we used for reference - that was easier than digging out the cds all the time. Then, a few people found them and started making requests so I removed them since they weren't linked anyway.

Then you made the big list.

The first version of the linked pages were static html that I did on the home server. I think. Then we hit pay dirt with the server. Then I created a small ssi/cgi system which I used as the start of the current set up. Then I got things rolling. Copey uploaded a bunch for us, I did a bunch. Everythng's fine.

But where, I mean, at what point, between the hidden pages and our current arrangement, things went on line, I'm not sure, and I don't recall which pages were listed at any given moment. If you want the unsortable flat files back, I can do that. I mean, I know what I have to choose from here. That's a no brainer. And I guess the plan is to make everything available. Unfortunately, copey can't help here cuz he doesn't have these. Thatsa mine right now. If you really want, mal, I can run us out of space. There's that many!

Maybe I'll start tonight with the mtm1 tracks and we can get a few people to help figure out what the unidentified ones are. I mean, if there's interest, I'm for it. I just need a night or two for the prep.

The bell rings. You mean the splash page! I get it. The splash page was an extra click so I got rid of it. The same pages are available but with sorts now. The mtm1 on xoom is one of the links at the top of the page. Nothing's missing.
