Ever created a track that was absolutely terrible? You aren't alone! Image

I decided to make available my first ever attempts at making tracks.

Andy's first track was made using Tracked2 (says a lot right there...)
Terrain work: leaves a lot to be desired.
Texture work: Stinky-Poo
Computer Trucks: don't even begin to follow the course
Notes: watch for the invisible object boxes that I didn't know how to get rid of.
Rating out of 5: -63.4

Andy's Second Track
A rework of the first one (in Traxx this time)
Everything is drastically improved, not that it's good though...

I put them into a 2 in 1 pod, podzipped it's only 106Kb.

I'm not going to put them at KC's or anyplace too public.

For a good giggle, get them at Andy's Monster Truck Madness 2, near the bottom of the first page.

Reminds me of some of my early stabs at track making. When I drove the first one, I thought, okay, looks like any number of newbie tracks, no big deal. Then I turned on the map. Ok, have to admit a little chuckle. Then I hit the first invisible object box. I was hooked by the end. The rest of the race was nice light entertainment =)

The only question I have is did you complete traxx school in between these two, or did you just jump right in and go?

Thanks for sharing. I have one of my duds posted here (not at kc's) for a similar reason. I figure it can't hurt to let people see that we all start someplace.

One such was The Shortest Track In The World which I intend to post on my site when it's finished. It MAY even spark an idea or 2 for the next competition! In fact, I think I'll upload it as it is right now so you can see for yerselves. http://members.tripod.com/Emcee4/
and go to my Tracks page.

I've made one, but I deleted it. Oh wait, I saved it on disk first. Haha, might dig it out sometime.
