I am currently working on the track format for the Monster project, and I am wondering who of yall have a mid to high end graphics cards? I've got a track format that is really similar to MTM, but I have also been working on another form that uses shaders and modern OpenGL. I have been trying to decide which direction to lead the project of which version I hope to figure out who would be able to play the new version.

1080 here, but my opinion is that you should work on getting a simple, modern MTM2 clone first, then you can go for the nice graphics. My two cents

Based on this forum and on voobly there are still users using Win XP and Win Vista though I think most of migrated to Win 10 by now (so they would have cards able to do modern OpenGL).

My windows 10 desktop is pretty capable, but my laptop (which is where I do my trucks) is a bit lacking performance wise. I think it'd be nice to see options for both ends of the spectrum for us "financially challenged" players like myself

hehhehheh, yeah, this thing cost me somewhere like $3,000 to build, and that's not including the monitor, but it's nice, those 1070 cards were like $500 a pop when I got them, but the last computer I built was in 2011, so this year I said "ALRIGHT, it's time for a new pc, and it's gonna be good this time, water cooled, SLI, and rugged", good stuff..PCI-E 4 was supposed to come out this year but they're slacking on PCI-E improvements. I got impatient. MTM2 beta runs darn good though on windows 10, like 70 frames on 1920x1080 with 40-50 visibility.

I got a windows 7 laptop with a 560m. Would that serve your purpose?

I also have a windows 10 machine... my torrent machine, has an nv 9600gt if you want to test the lower end.
