Yeah on "SandCastle" track we ran it once, it was really like driving in mud lol, couldn't get any traction in the water, trucks wouldn't move very easily, but dunno if it was a beta thing or if it had to do with the ability to drive underwater without resistance or drive fast underwater, since you can do that on that track, I dunno..just real hard to get on the track from underwater, it was like quicksand

Yeah just tried it. Still doing the issue. I have no idea at which point this started happening as I remember us playing with the beta patches and it was fine. I'll have to look into it. Tried other rumbles with tracks and seems to only happen with sand castle.

I'm not 100% sure but I think in the process of porting the code from Visual Studio 6 to Visual Studio 2015 some of the #ifdef commands have been ignored. For example, the game code has a "chamber system" which I'm pretty sure is a relic of Terminal Velocity and it is written to be ignored in the release version of MTM2. But in this particular case the chamber system was activated and whenever the ground level was at the height of 0 the trucks would sink into the tiles.

So I guess this means a new beta will be coming before the 2nd? The problem was the beta then, and not the actual track/rumble/pod? no problem, that's the purpose of this..to keep testing for glitches

Yeah I went back and tested the other betas. This has started happening since 0.25 which is also the time the code was moved to Visual Studio 2015 and every track that had a height of 0 had this issue (just that generally it's a pretty rare occurrence for a track to have height 0.

Thank you so much for keeping the scores while I couldn't make it. Site has been updated.

While my schedule has cleared, right now I'm not sure about next Sunday. I will be driving back (not me who is doing the driving) from Arizona on Sunday and it's a 10 hour trip. If we leave early enough I should be able to make it in time for the tourney but I'm traveling with other people and I'm not the one calling the shots.

Tourney results for November 27th: Also something interesting to note lol, we now know that Pugs is not Swiss, for Swiss logged into Voobly and hopped into the game while Pugs was playing with us the whole time, so 2 different people :)

Tourney Results January 8, 2017...also, after the tourney, we did some runs for fun, DKrider and his friend "Drod" (which is apparently short for "dick rod" he said in teamspeak..his words not mine, literally), they made me get on teamspeak, which at first I refused to do, then finally I got on it, just so they could taunt me in the game and use it to beat me in races...should have known...a couple races with these three, I think Pugs was in on it, he was in teamspeak too, they were using Finder for checkpoints and cutting the map together to beat me, not sure..I find these people are not very nice people, may be friends with them from old times, very immature, child like on teamspeak and lots of profanity..sad, really. Oh well. Tourney results is all that matters.
