Who wants to play racing on Saturday? I will organize with COPE(maybe) tournaments. the schedule, and the points system. We just want to ask if there is enough people to do it, so that can motivate us to do it.

I hope people still racing, and we can do good tournaments.

Thanks for your attention

I obviously do. Right now it might be difficult to get it started with the christmas holiday and everything though. (for example I will be gone for the sat after christmas and after new year).

You should also post on facebook.

As far as I know Cope works on Saturday so it's unlikely he can help out.

Yep, COPE works on Sat night...but occasionally I have a night off. Listen, it doesn't have to be a tourney, but that seems to be what draws people out I suppose. I remember when we would run the HBC list and a bunch of people would play just because it was fun (which it was), so we always got at least 6 to a room. Often time we'd run a few rooms because so many showed up. Let's face it, ALL of the racers are gone, save Fila and I, and MTM racing doesn't seem to appeal to many people given all of the race games out there nowadays with much better graphics. You guys currently run tourneys on Sundays, which is great, but I'm hard pressed to think you'd get half that number to to participate in a race tourney for this game. Would love to be wrong, believe me. As for me, I'm more than content with racing a list when time permits with Fila. If someone else wanted to join us, that would be great, but if not, I'm still good. :)

I still need to figure out how to race online, but I would be up for it. I have been downloading tracks I have never seen before and really enjoying them. I will work on it today. I think the Ooma box is configured right now, the next part I had forgotten about is the cable modem, it's actually a router also that I thought I had set to just be a pass through, but I am suspicious of it now.

Yeah if it's not set as pass through then it will create problems. Someone else had the same issue.

Hmm..is this still a hot topic? Do you guys actually race on Saturday nights? If so, what time? And how many races, and what tracks? Details, details..

The thing is, I kind of watch TV movie every Saturday night called "Svengoolie" lol 10 pm - midnight...he's..strange but kind of funny..but I "could" skip him to race, he just makes fun of old cheesy movies.

Sounds like a good idea, however saturdays are hard for me, and timing as well.
Sundays somewhere between 2pm and 4pm EST suits best for me.

I can manage that time, Ash - we'll have to hook up and run a few. Just got my game working so I'm ready to roll!

This was last night, with quite an array of teams represented. Granted, it's the kind of showings we had 10 years ago, but hey, it's a start! If you're curious, drop by. I think the much improved resolutions are igniting a little interest in the game again. It has for me!
