Very nice. The rendering is top-notch too.

That is pretty nice. I wish I could make my own models instead of just edit existing ones. Though I will admit, that looks pretty professional to me.

I agree with both of you. I wonder if I will ever in my entire life be able to build like that...

After all... just because I have the tool (3ds Max) doesn't mean I know how to use it...

Anyone can build like that, its all in the presentation on that kinda stuff, big dog and I used to do that high end stuff, but then ya put it in a game like this, and pffft, looks like crap.

Thats alotta good 3D rendering graphix, you aint never gonna make anything look that good in mtm2, so don't sell yourself short. Just do what ya want.

Thanks for telling me, Rep Fan... made me think a little more positive about 3D modeling...

I agree with rep but will add this as well from my experience. Its all in learning how to manipulate the graphics in mtm2 to get what you want as well as conforming to the limitations that the game sets for you. Alot of excellent models are mostly simple low vert models that incorperates well drawn shaded textures. The way a textures shaded can make a multitude of a difference.

REP FAN----I would actually like to see you go all out and make something extremely detailed. Not so it can work with MTM2, but just for *stuff* and giggles

My vision is a extremely detailed monster truck (made by me). I found a good "grip" in 3D Buzz (a website that offers 3D tutorials, you can buy DVD's with 3 from ground-up tutorials on how to create anything).

And yet, it looks good, but, I think I just need a rendering program, to present my stuff better. ;)

I did once for the last Expo, kinda went overboard, lotta chassis fab, lotta detail, even had a working shift light on the tach, it was that grey primered truck with the large headed driver in it, shift ball, even had the shift pattern on the top of the ball...

This game just can't handle all that, Evo2 can, but who plays that? My stuff lags, but I love detail, and refuse to change for anyone.
