Post subject: I could Really use some help

I have my .RAW files, but no .ACT files.
How do I make .ACT files and most importantly...how do I create a .POD?
I really need help on this because I'm, well...a rookie truck maker.

after you save the raw of your file you must save a pallette. after you need mdmre's pallette converter and its simple from there. find the pal file highlight it and click the convert pal to act. then the only step is to type a filename and click the button.the pallette converter is in the mtmg utilities under mdmres.

If you made the textures in sizes of 64x64 or 256x256, then you can paste them to Traxx's textures window, and then the palettes will be created automatically.
256x256 will work only in traxx 1.4

...Actually, if you have the texture files in .bmp format, you can convert them yourself with FLYRAWGUI available here at MTMG. It's a small but reliable program that converts (splits) .bmp files into separate .act/.raw files and visa/versa...and it works with windows (not DOS-based). the bitmap files have to be in 8-bit format.
