I could have sworn there was a patch or utility that you could download that would allow Small Tire vehicles to run on normal tracks with out "floating" above the ground. Is there a program to correct this or am I just going crazy?

On Phin's utilities page, there's this http://mtm2.com/~mtmg/downloads/mtm2/ga ... rackST.zip
I believe thats the fix for that, it makes it so yer trucks dont float. Malibu350 i think made it, but in order to run reg tracks, you have to un-pod it or something like that, been awhile since I used it, Phineus and Malibu would better info on it than me.

I just know it existed, when we were messing with that kinda stuff.

Can anyone explain me how that program works? Or how ST tracks works?

Small tire tracks ar basically regular tracks, but the ground is lowered so that ST vehicles dont float.

So, If we do race online, and only 1 or 2 people out of the group are using this, will that screw up the game?

A few more

http://mtm2.com/~tracks/tracks.cgi?search=-st-&track=on

I believe if somebody does not have the ST version then they'll get the different version message, but don't hold me to that - it's been a long time since I tried these.

We used to run a CORR series years ago, that alotta those tracks were made, it was cool stuff, still is imo. My site has a some stuff marked "ST" on a few trucks that'll work. I haven't seen anyone mess with em for awhile, but I always thought it was cool.

If you run a regular truck on an ST track, it just looks like its driving in mud, the tires sink in more. It does affect the performance of any of the vehicles, its just a way to fool the game into thinking the road is, where it really isnt, for the ST vehicles, the desired look is achieved.

I modified it just a little for PM's Leafer/tuff truck league...
Every thing is ur's except the Fuel Cell, Battery Tray, roll bar, and axles...I fiberglassed the bed and resized the tires to give it that old school Tuff Truck look. I also edited the cab to fill in the gap below the rear window. Hope you dont mind lol.

The main thing we were wanting to do with the small Tire tucks is be able to run them along with monster trucks during an event..like they use to do in the tnt and motor madness days.

C-POD can turn any track into an ST track and back again. No need to unpod or anything.
