I do!!!
Seriously, i want clothes in MTM2 that 'act' like clothes- not solid objects. The 'over-starched' effect is annoying. I want it to 'bent' and 'flex' on the verteces but you just hit it. LAME!
Oh and how can you get bins to be deboxified? They have boxes round them but in other games i've seen models which do not do this- RE-VOLT -The cone moves as one object but it isn't in an invisible box.
Help please. No jokes. Serious only or I will hate you.

I think what you are asking for Sig would be the equivalent of the "top crush" effect which has proven to be an elusive subject in MTM2. I don't know of any tracks that have successfully overcome this in MTM2 (tho' I could be wrong). I think the best you could hope for is an animated bin.

Well, if until now there aren't any tracks with this feature, be sure that it doesn't exist, with so many outstanding track makers out there, someone would had discovered this (and outstanding binmakers).

SIG- take it easy man. pls

Garrets TNT Figure 8 track has working crush cars in it (the cars are inside a building) also a while back Winterkill posted a demo track that i believe was made by TRI that had crushable cars in it, the location and name of it escapes me right now.

i believe traxx 1.4 allows you to lay top crushes and if no one knew how to do top crushes why would guitarbill bother adding it to traxx1.4

also tracked 1 & 2 support top crushes as well

and mc be careful what you say top crushes ARE animated bins lol they just operate differently

i have also managed to get a top crush to work in tracked2 before

A Cow....

when ya ran into it its textures changed to red blood textures

although this was pretty buggy it did work and ever since then i cant remember exactly what i did to get them to work in MTM2 Image

Oh and to see more described on top crushes read this topic which me and winterkill posted heaps on lol
http://mtm2.com/~forum/pages/Forum16/HTML/000012.html

^ Also has a link to download the track by TRI which uses top crushes

It should escape you Mal, because the pictures, download and some text were gone from that message thread Hac pointed to not very long after I'd posted it all. ;-)

Here's are some dried remnants:

The drivable pod is <a href=http://www.geocities.com/winterkill_mtm/zips/>here</a>.

I mean: you can put it on your hard drive. Doh! I mean you can do exactly what you see me doing in those screenshots, mount it, drive it. You can extract the pod, examine the topcrush info in the .SIT file, you can use the models, do anything you like, it's the quintessential example of top crush in action, both with models and with blank boxes defined by nothing but numbers, all courtesy of TRI via MTM1.

I can't seem to replicate this effect. I wanted to make a ball pop but it is just animated. I want it to 'ssss' down in a smooth movement as the car does. I can't even put the car bins in a drag!

my cousin said he could make top crushes in traxx1.4 because he has it....

i know traxx1.4 supports it but its still a very clouded subject thats for sure Image as me and winterkill pointed out over them many weeks of sorting all that stuff out Image

but as i said before i did manage to make a top crush a few weeks ago with a cow... but then again i did it in tracked2 and who else uses tracked2 for track editing around here lol

Yep, that track was found in the MTM1 track.pod(For some reason it doesn't show up on the track selection) and it's called Hill Climb. Its a simple, flat, straight track with some cool textures. The Arizona track in that same .pod also has crushable cars in the city. Download it from the MTMG(Phin, you should post a link to it) and try it out Image

The mtm game.pod is on at least two track mirror sites. The one on nbci is experiencing technical difficulties lately (I sure hope they didn't delete the site, it was starting to get pretty good). Anyway, the easy to remember addy is http://tracks.karf.net The other is the crosswinds site at http://www.crosswinds.net/~mtmg/ but good luck if you can log into there - very slow.

um. I hope you meant the game.pod lol

What happened to this post? It changed its name from 'I want clothes' to '"I want TopCrush"'- as i'm not particulary craving TopCrush at the moment
