Happens every time I try to clone a .SIT file that isn't a stock MTM2 track. What do I do?

Traxx doesn't clone. Bill designed it that way to prevent plagiarism.

But I've cloned other custom tracks before to make changes without any problem. What gives?

Yeah I've "cloned" my tracks when I lost the TXX file. Traxx does clone (at least version 1.4)

What I meant was that it will not clone on it's own without first extracting the necessary files with a secondary program like winpod.

I used BINEdit to extract the files, would that be my problem?

Probably because Binedit extracts to it's own directories (art, models etc) by default and Traxx would not know where to find the extracted files since it also uses it's own by default. You can reset Binedits defaults under prefferences but it would be much simpler to just use Cpod or winpod, or TRI's podview for extracting.
