Click here for the best checkpoint page on the net

If you've already done that, then just make sure the checkpoint numbers are in proper order.

Note. Checkpoints have several object properties automatically set for them. For instance, you don't want to "see" the check point in the game, so it's automatically set to "invisible". You also want trucks to pass through them, so it's automatically set to "no collide". And, of course, we want them to count the laps, that's why we number them. Anyway, try this and let us know what happens.

If your using a checkpoint model that is a drive through type (as opposed to drive past type) them you must also set the checkpoint model to No-Collide. It sounds like that's what happening now.

Hope that helps a bit

Your checkpoint will consist of a few different elements.

Most important is the model which forms the checkpoint. You can use what evermodel you like, or use just a purple box (in Traxx it would appear purple.)

It's easiest to use the normal checkpoint bins, which are...ckbox.bin and ckboxn.bin...or something like that (I'm working from memory here.) If you use them, the arrows on the box show you which direction the box is pointing. Set the arrows so that they face the same direction you want the trucks to go.

You must set the properties to checkpoint, and give it a number. Your first checkpoint should be # 0

Next comes the marker you will use to show where your checkpoint is located.

If you decide to us rocks or flags or signs or whatever, placed at the side of the road, you don't have to do anything to them.

But if you want to use something that stretches across the road, like a banner, you have to set it to no-collide.

You should have two models in the same place, one to make the checkpoint, one to show where it is.

lol, the "/" goes like this [ / u r l ]

I hope that shows up.

Anyway, I don't mean the link. Obviously, the link I posted was good enough. Nope, the zip file was no good. Try the zip again.

And, by the way, you are allowed to edit your own messages. You don't need to post ten messages when all you're trying to do is fix the first one.

First, the track. Yes, the checkpoints work fine now. Download it from the link above, and try it out. Then, look at it in traxx to see what I did.

Secondly, the truck. Get it at beeks. Go to the "D" page (refresh if you have to). It's there.

Thirdly, print screen. Don't press shift. Just press "print screen". That's it. Do that, then exit mtm2. Now, before you do anything else, open your paint program - any paint program - goto "edit" on the menu, then select "paste". Your screen shot will (or should) appear.
