Hi, it's me with more questions about textures.

Has anyone ever come across a texture which is too complicated for MTM to display?

Here's what's happened to me. I created a texture in PSP. I made sure it was 64x64x256, this texture only uses 85. Then I copied and pasted into Traxx. Then I used it to paint one side of a ground box. In Traxx, everything shows up fine.

But when I go to MTM2, the texture doesn't sure up. Instead it's just a black square.

Any thoughts?

Andy

Yep, try pasting it again, but this time use a different name. The odds are that somebody already made a texture with the same name you have so which ever pod is highest in the list wins over the lower one. If you really want to test this out, move your pod to the top and then it should show up in the game. Please let us know what you find.

I've been doing this long enough you'd think I would've thought of that.

I thought the name was pretty unique, but it worked.

Here's another question about textures.

You know how MTM blurs all the textures. I've seen tracks where you could easily read the signs and stuff.

How do you make textures so that they are still readable in MTM.

Did I explain that well?

Andy
