 Post subject: Hidden Checkpoints

On certain drag courses like WF8, Monster Mash, and tampa 07, I've found a hidden checkpoint that dosen't suit a leauge any good. Now the wierdest thing was they weren't there when I first got them. WHAT IS GOING ON!!!!!!!!!!??????????!!!!!!!!!!!

it's just a thing that the game puts in itself.
don't worry, it's normal. it happens with all the tracks "with out" checkpoints put in. if you make a track in traxx with no checkpoints, the game itself will put one about a simulated mile away from the nearest object. :idea: :D :) [(-:] 8) [nyuk] :P [:P] [;)] [:-)] this helps the game not to crash or confuse itself. [bump] [;)]

I just checked WF8 and the checkpoint is gone. Does the game switch checkpoint locations or something on ones that have no checkpoints???? Also how did u figure that out. I'm so confused.

No. It's located at 0,0,0 in the terrain and is only a pointer. If you press the F key you'll turn the finder on and off and you can see the location never moves.

Nothing to figure out. When you play the game a while you'll come across many things like this.

oh I didnt know it was real, I figured it was just like a checkpoint array that was blank, thus 0.0.0. i never figured it was intentially done that way. and since you cant trip it anyways...

The checkpoint on WF8 is back. Does the game ture the hidden checkpoint on no checkpoint tracks on and off???

I think so. There is only 1 WF8 track out there right. It is all of them in the racing lane that makes a left hand turn. It drives me nuts. First its not there, then its there, then its gone, now its there why does the game do this?????

If you press the F key, you can toggle the checkpoint finder on and off.
