I'm having trouble with converting .raw to .bmp or something more usable. I tried FlyRawGui and it only gave me a streaky black-and-white picture. I recall reading somewhere how to set up PSP for opening .raw files, but I can't find that either. Anybody know why FlyRawGui doesn't work properly or how to set up PSP?

try TxRaw, very small very easy ... dl link

once TxRaw is associated with raw files all you need to do is double left click on any raw file and it'll paste it to your clipboard, making it simple to open in any paint program.

The image needs a palette. for example,

PIC001.RAW (Image file)
PIC001.ACT (Adobe Color Talbe Palette)

If the RAW file has no palette, that means the image use METALCR2.PAL as the default palette.

btw, TXRAW (cool!) works fine in Windows XP (yuk!)
