Disposable,
That is one fine list. Great job. 8)

... I hope the list is still changable? I've been doing a lot of those tracks, and the following failed (some miserably) IMO.

7ogdenville
DogCountry
2chance
ExtremeLuge

I was running these in Pro mode.

I run Extreme Luge Quite often, and some of the trucks do get hung up occasionally, but almost all of them finish the race.
Dog Country is also a favorite that I have no problem with.
I run both in Pro mode.
Every bodies PC is different, and I think it was Phineus who said that different CPU's seem to make a track/trucks behave differently.

The point is that there is no perfect solution to the problem of truck AI.....What works for you may not work for me, and vice versa.
The best we can come up with is a good mix of fair AI to great AI tracks. And this is what I think we now have. This provides a really good platform to build your own preferences later on.
I have no doubt that this list can be improved for me and you, but any improvements I make may not be so good for you!
Swings and Roundabouts Teknor!

PS: I would think that the list will be as easy to change as any other when it is finally posted.....But at least we now have a list! :D

The track list for OFFLINE racing is up! Just go to the track download list here:

http://mtm2.com/~tracks/tracks.cgi?favorites=30

PS: Don't use the Pod.ini yet, it still has to be modified!

Not that I know of? But it is a good idea, maybe Phineus knows of a way? :)

Sorry for the delay in getting the list up, guys, but I see it's been taken care of. Great! As for getting a consolidated zip with all thet tracks, yes there is a way. It would take compiling them in a zip, then uploading it to the site.

Just the actual POD's in one zip?
Where do you upload it? (FTP address)
Anything else needed beside that?

I have zipped the pod files and pod.ini in one zip, with complete instructions for simple installation without problems!

How do I get the zip online?

I have not written a program to compile a list of tracks all in one zip (yet). If somebody makes one (a zip) I can certainly host it when it's ready.

It's ready! 125 meg though!
It contains all the tracks in the offline raceable list, plus all the stock tracks, and the pod.ini. And a read me file to explain how to install painlessly

PS: Going to bed now! Will look in tomorrow to find out what you decide! :D

You could lighten the load by taking the stock tracks out of the zip. If you're downloading add-on tracks, the assumption is that you already have the game, which includes the stock tracks. ;)

I thought that! But I was worried that with everyone modifying their setup (as we do), the pod.ini would not work if any were missing! And I removed the 3 rumble tracks as they are online only!
But it is easy to do that, if this idea is worth pursuing? :)
