Check out the homepage of MFR, and drop a line if you would like to beta test, there are some screenshots there. I will be updating frequently as it progresses.

Hey James, great (and surprising) to see this project still kicking along after all this time.

Teaser pics are certainly aptly named :)

Must have been a great technical challenge to read and support these archaic MTM file formats. If those screens are of actual physical gameplay and not contrived, this could be something really exciting and I guess you're better poised to succeed than I gave you credit for. Happy to be proved wrong on that count 8)

Very cool! Glad to see this is still in progress. Great timing on the pics, the actual Monster Jam World Finals were last night!

MFR is (although Jpez can say it better than I can) a new monster truck sim backwards compatible with mtm/2. Sort of like Project Monster except (a) it's actually being worked on and (b) it's possible to make things for it.

Edit:

Notes -

1. Thanks! This thread brought a smile to my face.
2. AWESOME pics, particularly the teasers.

Back in the day I seem to remember this was being written in Visual Basic. Guess James saw the light lol.

James used to be programming it in VB.

You can do anything in VB that u can do in CPP but it's just easier to do it in CPP.

I finally convinced him to use CPP. Smartest move he ever made - listening to me. LOL :-P
