Would it be possible to make an articulated lorry that the trailer swings when it turns by putting the trailer model in with the wheel models :?:

I thought it might work because the rear tyres steer which would also turn the model of the trailer.

I don't want to waste my time trying to make this work if someone already knows it doesn't!!! :)

Problem is that if you had it set as a tire than it'd spin too. Something u dont want a trailer to do. If you set it as part of the axle then it'd bounce different from the truck but it'd also not turn. Plus you can only have one axle. So the front would have to have a trailer too.
Everything as been thought about it.
Some fo Bigdogge's weird trucks take advantage of these quirks:

His Mars transporters for example:

Search his list for 6x6 8x8 and weird. He's taken advantage of lots of tricks involving wheels and axles.

I'd like to just add one word. Our game has shown remarkable flexibility when it comes to customizing things. And things that were thought impossible in the early days have proven quite doable more recently. Two examples include tracks made entirely with 256x256 textures and the loop de loop. There are more but that's not my point... which is, half the fun is in the trying. Oh, sure, it's always nice when you succeed, but for every idea that has made it through to completion there's probably been dozens that never get off the ground. But it's the trying that gets things done. We've seen evo conversions, but will we see mtm2 to mtm1 conversions, and what will it look like to see an evo track in mtm1? Don't know if it'll happen, but wint's working on it and will probably tell us about it even if it doesn't turn out. You never know what ideas it can spark. Same thing goes here. You don't need to spend a lifetime if the odds seem against you, but there's no shame in taking a shot and coming up short. You'll join a long list of others who've tried too. But if mike204 and malibu350 didn't take their shots first, the looper would've been harder to do, and probably not even happen. OP handed the binedit code over and RBIII built on his work and turned it into a very fine program. The seeds can grow. Will it for a truck like this? Who knows. It hasn't yet. But when cows sport turbo charged engines, headers and jet exhaust, I've learned never to say never with this game.

Now how do we get TRI and MSFT to give up the mtm2 source code?
