I have been working on a whole new UI.POD . I have the main 4 screens done and the bottom buttons done . I plan a lot more for it before I call it done .

One plus is I have added is all of the stock .sit files . When finished , replace your stock one with this one and mount the <a href="http://cownap.com/~tracks/tracks.cgi?search=podzip" target="_none">podzip file</a> and you can have all the stock tracks in game by mounting 1 pod (you already need a UI.POD) freeing up room.

it looks nice, but i dont like the MP screen, it seems to bright to stare at for sone long wanting ppl to ready up. And it looks like text may be somewhat hard to see. but the rest I like. When this is done, im definitly going to get it

The slightly darker MP screen did seem nicer (either than or im going crazy lol) All around I like it and I'm keeping it, but I did take two screen shots with some "glitches" circled but of course, they could just be from my conditions (stated below).

I circled the two errors i found, this was just after a quick check with my fine toothed comb.
The transtion screen (the white car truck thingy) didn't really catch my fancy but I'm probably the only one that sees it anyways lol

My conditions

Windows 95
200 Mhz
16 bit colour mode
640 x 480 set up as default res
ATI video

I hope this helps you make a great addon[/img]

The UI is very nice indeed, although i noticed the different angle picture of the race screen truck, i personally dont notice a difference in the track icons discolouring, but like i said before, I like them red and discoloured over a black square lol. I didnt know that game glitch was even posible to remove. But really, this UI pod is very nice indeed. I kinda wish Phine had a section for all the UI pods, id like to get several of them, have a different one for every computer i have mtm2 installed one (8 or 9, i'm not sure).

I really liek the winners circle with the mtm2 shots on the TV screens hehe.

I was woundering if ur able to change the loading screens aswell???

So far only a few people have made them. Nrrivas, the guy who made the page, made his. I made one, Ch, and now warrior. Once Warrior's is dubbed as finished, I'll save it with the other download files. If anybody else make one, then I'll have to give serious thought to a page.

All screens can be changed.

You've obviously put a lot of time and thought into this. Good work.


Only thing I found were a couple glitches in the art folder.

ART\WINNASS1.RAWWI (odd file extention)
ART\WINNASS1.RAW (this is a directory, not a file)

I used PodTool to build and Podview to extract .

File is final . V1.2 can be downloaded from my site .
