Ok, I'll try to get working on what I understood of that message... but why do the trees need to be set to facing? Also, I use chase veiw (Chase far) and I don't have a problem with the water part... What exactly do you mean by this?

Couldn't download, the connection times out on me.

Facing trees will make them look better, and the ones close to the road will interfere with the race, so please set them to no collide (post for truNk preferred)

Edit: darn proof-reader misses stuff every time.

Ohhhh... I'll do that before I release the next version (which I was about to now)... I made that roof so there are no gaps (and I often use that veiw myself, I still don't see the problem) which must make it better... Anyway, you can, of course, go to the side, hit the cave ceiling, flip, roll, and go above the cave... you'd still hit the checkpoint but u might hit a pole to (or worse, get stuck in the ground)

Here it is! The second beta! With some custom textures and some new models, plus I fixed what I could... about too many ground boxes too close together I removed some, but most are still there. I set my horses and some other things to normal (some I thought were really un-needed so I set them to complex) and I made all the trees facing. Also, by the end I hope to have some custom sounds, plus, I WILL eventually get a UFO...

I adjusted my chase veiw further up, and you are right its cramped, but u can live with that... though, about the holes, I fixed that because it WAS really annyoing to have the camera 'bounce' as I was driving... I hope u like the changes...

Thanks wk for the link Image

I ran a 1:16 on it.

It's a rough and tumble little circuit that I can imagine being some fun online with your friends.

I found the water just before the first cp a little deep and really slows you up, but that's only a minor quibble. Maybe make it easier to get out of.

The tree stumps are definitely a concern, just how much you want to play with it is up to you.

Also, that grassy texture has a naming conflict with something else. First time through, half the track was all white. I moved it to the top of the list and then I saw the grassiness.

Some fun on the off-track parts too.

Strange... I don't think you had to move it to the top though. Its done this to me before to... its just a basic texture loading error. All I did was close MTM2 and open it again, and the track worked fine... I've also made a few more secrets then in Beta 2, plus I'm working on fixing the lag at the start, and the prob of getting out of water. I think I'll probably release the full version as soon as I get the spaceship 4 it Image

Pay attention please. I did not say anything about an error. I said a naming conflict. You are using a texture that has the same name as a texture in another track. That's it.

You can either re-name it and then reload it into the track, or just move the pod to the top, or use another texture.

Which track is it conflicting with? I don't know. But it kinda look like something from the excavation.

Here's my pod.ini right now.

Well I'll just say in the readme to pod it at the top if you have any trouble. Its probably excavation textures. Only 55, heh heh, I've only been playing since X-mas '99 and I have 69 I guess I better watch myself... only 100 at a time...

Good I'm glad 2 know u peeps aren't the type that just races... not many people are, but exploring is fun, and you can't fully enjoy MTM2 without doing that.
