I eventually moved from Netscape7 to Opera. One of the few site that are not displayed properly is MTMG (http://mtm2.com/~mtmg/):
the Java scripts for the pull-down menus do not work.

I tried tweaking the Java configuration, with no success.

Any ideas?

I just tried and found the same thing. Oddly, the javascript on the track page works fine (tho the checkmark doesn't show up). I think perhaps a bug report to the opera people is probably in order.

Yes, except for the flags that show as strange little circles.

I just tried the option "identify as:"
*Opera
*MSIE6.0
*Mozilla

with absolutely no effect.

LOL....certainly not

IE is a security hazard. My firewall is configured such that IE is never allowed to access the internet.

changing ur identity doesnt effect performance, it just gets rid of those messages that say your browser is incompatabile

and personally, ive never had a security problem with IE, its all a scam, there is nothing wrong with IE.

It depends on how your computer is used. I went years with IE without a problem because I was the lone user of the computer. The other computer in the house was public and IE was just a no.

I'd still be using IE today if it weren't for the luxery of tabs :)

Tab's, yeah lots of people like those, personally they bugged me cause popups would come up as more tabs and my normal popup blocker couldnt block those, but i can see the apeal of them.
