good good, a wooble value, sounds like u have implemented a real damage system of some sort... but i hope the tire wooble doesnt actually effect truck handling, or it will just be annouying

Actually, I had to temporarily disable the wobble because it was causing the tire to go WHOP WHOP WHOP and eventually begin rotating sideways lol. Here's a video of the tires spinning on the axle though.

Heyo Mat. Love the tires man, serously love em lol.

Had a few ideas for you if you would like them?
A big one, if posible, allow track and Truck makers to be able to use the same old bin files so they aint gota learn a whole new thing?

Or if that didnt work out, maybe for some who , not trying to be rude, but arnt realy truck litterate, maybe put in a small custom truck maker in the game? I can even paint you out some grapics you could slap on trucks ^.^

Now insted of building... How about some realistic flag movments on trucks, or would that be hard?...Be nice to see RII lights and if posible Flamers too lol

Just my 3 cents for you, Keep up the work man its looking awsome

P.s> Can you sign me up for a beta? Currently my Email program has died again, just send it or anyother messages to eat_dirt@shaw.ca

Okay, I just signed you up.

>>Same old bin files
I really wish, but no can do. The format is something different, but I hope it'll be possible to convert easily. Here's what I know about it:

-The models I am using are exactly fifty times the size of mtm2's models.
-I downloaded some source code related to the models, if anyone wants to make a converter.

>>Custom truck maker
Although the trucks will be the harder addons for the game (requiring lots of modeling and preparation) there WILL be a track/truck maker. Also, I am thinking of putting in an option to have a racing suit for the driver to be wearing for each truck.

>>Realistic flag movements
Dunno how realistic I can make them, but I do want to make nice flags for this game. I think there's a new rag doll system coming out, maybe that would be of assistance.

Anyway, here's a new video!

Don't worry, my engine supports up to 1024x768 rez, 32-bit textures with alpha transparency (yes, as in TGAs), and quite a bit of other stuff. Plus, it should be compatible for the majority of you guys, and it should take only a second or two to load each track (regardless of detail), unlike many modern games.

Well, I haven't made any tracks yet (thought I'd get a basic truck working first), but that will come in due time. About the release date, I don't want to set anything because if I do, it'll be a lot of pressure to do so and it might actually prolong programming time.

Yes, all four wheels are independent of each other; in the full game, I intend to control all tires within a "control_truck" function or something, which is where the front/rear steering comes in.

Next video I post will be a special effect show.

Matt, do you mean it will steer like a real monster truck? For instance, we could turn the front tires hard right and turn the back tires right and make the truck crab, and vice versa. <That was really more of a question. Ok, if it's setup like that, how do you use the rear steer, is it a hotkey on the keyboard or the controller? One more question, if you don't want to use the rear steer independently, will it work in unison with the front steer like it does in mtm2 now?

I hope this new mtm game has a lot of expandability and modifications, with as simple as say a music folder for every track or so so u can drop in some MP3's etc. so you can have more music selection for each track or change the music. cause seriously the same old song gets very boring after awhile lol (hyper lmao). or if your really good at online stuff, maybe you know how to make it so u can stream audio from somewhere

Okay, I'll send it to you whenever the heck I can find where I downloaded it to lol.

I think the A and D keys might work for independent rear steer. Perhaps an option to switch between that and mtm2's current style.

The next version of my game programmer promises a fully editable final product (or at least an option to do so) so it should be fine with editing. And yes, I do intend to have a music album editor included, so you can pick what's music to your ears.
