That kinda sounds like Rob Zombie.

Thanks Fila! It was Rob Zombie's Spookshow Baby.
Chillin told me he quit making tracks in his one email to me. He never answered about the music. This Scream track has the best animation of any track I have tried!
Does any other track maker do anything
like Chillin did? I want more!

(btw, your tracks are awesome too!)

There is a track, Da Ben Kings World "i don't know what"

All i know it starts with Da Ben Kings. It's 6 megs and it's incredebly. The whole map is populated and you are in a fun park. TONS of things to do in it.

P.S. Thank you Image

Is it just me or does Scream have the best animation of any mtm2 track in existence?
Every track maker should take a look at this track. The animations seem to dance to the music.
Chillin told me he is not making tracks anymore, and I see it as the end of an era. Kind of like Da Vinci deciding not to paint anymore. Teamdeath runs a distant second to Chillin, and Teamdeath is GOOD!
heavy sigh...
Enough ranting and feeling sorry for myself...
I hope someone picks up the torch and makes more masterpieces... I would if I could, but I am lacking in the artistic talent department. My Doom 2 levels ****ed moose butt...

The animations are from Half-Life

I am working on learning how to make Chillins models work properly. In his readme file, he claims it's all his, and I've never seen any of it in the Half Life stuff I've seen... As to the music, I dled every Spookshow Baby version out there, but because I heard Chillins first, thats the one I like! Ive extracted it from the pod and play it all the time!
Thanks Chillin, and as for Team Death as your inspiration, Scream is the only track that I like more than any of Team Deaths.
If you ever break a leg or have some time to kill, make another track!
Thanks!

Hmm, I'm not sure there are any instructions anywhere that state how to place an animated bin in Traxx.

Animations consist of a series of bin models that differ from one another, making the separate frames of the complete animation. Then there is an "<a href=http://mtm2.com/~forum/pages/Forum11/HTML/000001.html>animation control bin</a>" that is not an actual bin model at all, despite the name. The control bin defines the order and speed of the actual models being animated.

To use an animted model in Traxx you must load up all of the individual frames as well as the control bin in the traxx models dialog. Then all you do is insert an object box into the track and apply the control bin to it (the conrol bin is listed as having zero vertices/faces in the models dialog). That is all there is to it, the animation properties are built into the control bin by the original designer, all you have to do is insert it into the track and make sure you've loaded all of the frames into the Traxx models dialog box (it's not necessary to put them in the track itself).

Great models and a great track Chillin!

Don't make me re-install and play the game again Image

Note: They are his, i don't think there is a way to convert Half-Life models to MTM2. He "converted" them 100% manually.

The track starts off great. I just wish I could make it to the 4th checkpoint and beyond. I like a challenge but ... . The graphics are outstanding! Just wish I could get it to work. Is it suppose to suspend the truck in the air while trying to make it through certain areas? I see the date on this and maybe this post is a waste but i sure wish someone could fix this or maybe tell me what I am doin wrong

you know, i just tried this track for the first time. i love the model animations and train settings, and even one part seemed to be scripted enough so that an object falls when i enter a certain area (how was that done, btw?).

but the only part i dont like is the last jump just before the finish. if i have acceleration up a lot, i barely make it by hitting the edge before it, and barely am able to climb over the top before i fall backwards. its almost impossible to make it without using a custom truck.

Dang, one year short in bumping this lol. (to make it every 2 years)

Anyways, gotta say this is my favorite track ever, you can make that final jump, i just forget how, but I had it, already clearing it, with room to spare no problem, i just forget my truck sets. I know suspension and gear played a big part in it, also hwo you took to the ramp also did, and where you took the jump.
I wish I could fraps it but fraps don't like my computer :(

I managed to get over the second jump the first time I tried the track (yesterday), but now I can't ¬¬.
I've tried these settings: acceleration/top speed ratio: 1600, suspension: hard, tyres: deep cut. I still had no luck.
Great track though, nice animation.
