Its pretty hefty at 4.4 megs due to the custom sound and textures but the explorable terrain is huge and detailed so I think its worth your time and hd space, and btw its very light in the model/vertice dept. so no lag worries there.

================
from the read me txt.
================
"SBM Monster Cross" is modeled after a real mx park located in the hills here in Orange CA. lap times are around 2 minutes and the best sets are 1500-1600 mm pro to get the proper lift.

"SBM Speedway" is just a flat oval for some power slidin fun. good lap times are 17 seconds.

"SBM Gear Jammer" is a helter skelterish rough ride which should challenge the best drivers skills. good laps are 1:30 and under.

"SBM Rally" is a 6 minute stroll over the Saddleback terrain, and if you like to explore this is the track to do so on it has more roads and places to 4 wheel than the others. lastly the map is ugly because it overlaps the terrain grid (several times) but there should be enough signs in place so you can leave it off and not get lost Image

there's more info in the read me...

I finally got around to disecting the track so feel free to use whatever you like.
SBM components

BTW, All the tracks I've done are broken down in the same manner, just go to tracks/track components/statistics and help yourself, please report any broken links... thanks and adios...

What settings do you use to get 17 seconds?
My best is about 20!

Thanks Malibu350,
I recently got 4x4 Evo and dled your Evo
version of Saddleback, put it in the custom
track directory but only the Gear Jammer track comes up. Am I doing something wrong?
Thanks again,
dgt

Good question.. merged tracks will only show the first when placed in the custom folder.

It (the SBM4x4e.pod) needs to be placed in your evo directory C:\Program Files\Terminal Reality\4x4 Evolution (if default)

then in the same folder find the pod.ini file and open it with notepad, add the SBM4x4e.pod name (CaSe sensitive) to the list then increase the number at the top of the pod.ini by one, save it.

that should do the trick, no need to toggle them at the intro, they'll be there in the track list all ready to go..

Wow you are FAST!, but I got the answer from
KC's Evo forun already.
It works great, except for the bots.
They seem to have dissapeared.
Thanks,
dgt
