Okey-dokey.

Here's the fixed version...Phineus, could you replace his old copy when you have the time please?

http://mtm2.com/~bigdogge/download/eatd ... nykoch.zip

-----------------------------------

2 more things I fixed on it:

headlights were misaligned - I lined them up with the front of the truck.

The pod contained the notorious 256x256 BLACK.RAW texture....I reduced it to 64x64 pixels (not a problem anyway if you have fixmore3 installed, I think).

Just make a new truck (new paint, design, body). That one was already released and downloaded. I'm sure you have some fresh ideas to apply to a totally new rig.

If you want it to be related to the first truck, call it "Eat MORE Dirt"....(Ouch...forgive me for that one heh heh.)

Start at number one, and end at number twenty. We'll wear sun glasses if we need 'em ;-)

Start at a Scrapyard this time, don't repaint someone elses truck.

There is much more satisfaction in doing it your way. Get a body you like, get a frame you want from some yards. Choose your own wheels, or make all of it yourself instead. If you don't know how to do any of that, that's why we're here, to help you and to answer your questions.

You saw how mad I got when I saw what you did to my Power Wheels truck, and if I were Slick, I'd be kinda mad about the other. Who needs that kind of stress? Keep things peaceful, and be original, do something totally off the wall and different. That's what seperates the good from great truck makers.

There's a selection of truck parts at my scrapyard, along with links to a few more.

http://mtm2.com/~bigdogge/scrapyard/autoparts.htm

Modify what ever you wish as you need to, but be sure to change the model and texture names if you do...

Well, Good news! after about a day of looking at my Eat Dirt 1 drawings, and making a few new sketches, I have decided that the Pod file will include the Classic and Updated version, If you want to look at the ruff draft for the update version, Just look at this picture....Or poke your left shoe with a spoon..Or something... :?
Image
It wont look exactly like this, but close to it, As for seeing the classic..Your gona have to wait [;)]

if you are planning on uploading a truck featuring parts "borrowed" from someone else's truck, then make sure you get permission from the older truck's authors before releasing it.

I give permission ahead of time for people to use my parts, as long as they give proper credits for the parts they used, but some folks prefer to be asked first.

Good luck on the new truck project. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with next.
