Thanks Phin. I know thats what I needed to cut down on some short cuts now. Thanks to Jumper for putting it back in my head. I sould know by now that Cps are the main way to make sure of to many cut offs. You guys have said it to enough people that it sould be second nature to me. Ok Im a little slow at times. I put the fonts in windows. Not sure that was your intent now. Sorry man, what was I suppose to do any way? With the fonts.

Nothing. I was just letting you know it isn't always easy finding something that's close.

No problem. Now just smooth out that road and make sure there's no invisible trees getting in the way. Drove me nuts trying to make a lap.

And I still don't like that road that goes straight hear the end but the course takes a left turn. [bump]

Okay, but I still don't like that part that goes straight, hehe.

[ edit ]

Hey, wait a second. They want 32 bucks for that thing. I'll stick with what I found.

I liked the track, good grip, fast, that little straight line doesnt bother me at all (just my opinion). I just made a 48.09sec, dunno if thats good or bad.

Yeah that's sad ain't it. I went to an old bookmark for fonts where they used to have hundreds of them for free... not no more, everything has a price tag on it now and 32 bucks is way out of line... I'm glad I scooped up a bunch back when they were free.

Since you're a friend I'll let you have it for only 29.95us, but you better act now, deals like this don't last long :)

You know, after looking at it a while (and browsing the gr site) the thought came to me that I've seen that one before. Can't seem to find it though. However, while I was at it, I found a couple hundred I didn't have posted.

/~mtmg/downloads/misc/fonts/

But I know I've seen it. Maybe the office 97 disk. No matter now, tho, eh? And I suppose somebody's gonna say I should redo those graphics now.

Ok Phin, I change that last turn[hard left] . It cuts over the grass now. The straight run is now shorter. The question now is it ok to go over the grass with out tire marks in the grass. I dont mind but, if you think it needs changed I will. But I dont have the textures to make the change. I need to either Beta one more time or send it to one of you guys to look at it. Btw hope I have enough Cps now. LoL

I also did them up to 20.

Btw, I thought these were evo conversions. If i'd known they were home grown I would've griped about the mapping.... and then fixed it.

> is it ok to go over the grass

Yes, it's even okay to make the comp trucks follow the road but let the racers cut the corner as a bit of a short.

About the wonky road/intersection. I just don't understand why it goes straight at all. That's all I was saying. I find stuff like that extremely distracting. But that's me. Others don't have a problem with it.

I didn't map those, I didn't even know how to map at the time so I just swapped textures.

I put a couple little eye catchers at the end down in the water on that straight. Your right, more work was all I realy got out of it. So I sould leave the lay out and comp trucks alone. But have the short cut for the racers. Ok I can do that. I know Ive said it before and your sick of hearing it. But Thanks. Btw I LOVE THIS GAME. Can I get an amen.

Here's the thing. Now that you're learning more about what to look for and how things work, you can now join in the test phase for other tracks. For example, Crash has one waiting for input. Can't have too many testers, you know.

I couldn't take it anymore... the mapping was so bad on those old cp's I had to redo em all... I rebuilt and remapped all twenty.

I'll update the set at scraps with these later on.

The new bins have new textures that tile from front to back now, no mas el seamos.. I did use your numbers though :-)

All the tri rocks are impossible to remap well without first fixing their textures
