I'm wondering if there are any defined vert limits on tires. I have gotten sick of MTM 2's boxy-butt tires and would like to try something a little more rounded in profile (not how round it is, but how flat the tread area is). I know LC did major-vert 3d treads a while back but I'd like to keep tires as low vert as possible. Also, would it look odd in game? Thanks!

There is no set limit on tires, but either way, they inadvertently do affect the lag of the truck.

LC's tires are very cool, but they really bring the gag factor up, if your truck is really low in verts, I'd say go for it.

I agree with the boxy looking tires thing too, but I just use em, cuz I have plenty of other stuff on my trucks that create lag, so it's just one less thing I have to worry about. But anything you choose is totally up to you.

They are a lil bad, but only the DES16L&R.bins are the 3D ones, the 10 and 08's are regular textured bins.

They look pretty cool imo, I think if you use em on a tube truck, non-leafer you'll be ok.

Excellent. Taking advantage of scenery levels makes all the difference in the world. Good work. [tu]

hey, looking good man.

if ur gonna make 10 and 08 normal, u think it would help to put some tread textures underneath the 3D treads?

Yepper, I did. You could cut the 3D treads off, and it is just a stock textured mtm2 tire model. Then remapped the 3D's to the stock tread.
