ok i understand that the cockpit isnt used much nor has it been modified more than a couple of times.
i figured out where and what they are but, (this is wierd) there is side and reverse views.

i didnt think it was possible to turn around in the cab ??

Yes you can turn left, right and backward in the cockpit. I use the hi hat on the joy stick; I'm sure other controllers have something similar; and, if not, you can program views in the controller options.

I'm pretty sure the statistics are going to change in the near future. There's custom cockpits and finders just around the corner..... from the author of <i>Game mods, Procrastination, and You</i>.

You could do it in MTM 1, it was helpful when lineing up for a drag race. You could look at the other lane and stage using the other truck as a guide. Otherwise it had little use.

LOL I didn't know Wint had authored two books, Phin. Yeah, there quite a few people who use the in cab view to race. It amazes me to no end how people are able to use that view. It disorients me, especially on big jumps. Furthermore, I don't know how you guage spatial distances using that view, but what I do know is given the limited visual perspective they're dangerous people to be around going into a turn lol.

Ok I know that commentary was of absolutely no use to the topic at hand, but I felt compelled to share it lol.

Ive always used it... most times I cut the dash off though.. And I'm a very clean racer.. as long as its not cope anyway

Lol specially when trying a pass maneuver on the inside of a curve.



You sure about that? lol if you cant see what's beside, how can you tell if you didn't push ppl into walls rock etc?
