Does anyone have some basic coral textures? I need some single textures for using on templates, so if anyone is going to make any, you don't need to put them as roads or transitions. If you can't find any, can you tell me where I might find some?

Thousands of tiling images here

I've used it many many times.

I have a CD with thousands of textures and pictures, I'm looking at 100 undersea ones now, most of which appear to be coral. Can you narrow the focus of your desire? [;)]

Well, they all need to tile. I would like:

Rock: dark, half covered in sand
Coral: reds, blues, greens, any style
More rock: lighter, barnacles?
Sand: same as sand on rock
Weed: medium light green

Have you got them?

Check out the textures used on the models here, http://malibu350.com/scraps/LandscRock.htm ...there's some blue coral there that could easily be turned red green or whatever in psp, there's also plenty of rock textures there as well.

Oh, it is handy. ;) A commercial cd full of royalty free images.
CD's images are mostly big photos of real things, great for photo texture samples, and what with paint shop pro's ability to make pretty good seamless tiles from a well selected photo region it's good pickin's.

Though we're working under water here, don't hold your breath. Gonna have to have a look see and sea what I can come up with, delving into an existing texture collection as well.

Shooting for 60x60 24-bit seamless tiles. Need a day at least...

Not exactly. The mixing is something I think you can do if you find the right source textures to work with. A great resource for high quality, seamless natural textures is this site that I discovered in the July 14, 2003 issue of Mooseweek: :)

Now here's what the guy with a CD (a little fishie) came up with,
use if you choose: Under the sea (82 seamless tiles)

Note: if anyone was here earlier, please note that the collection has doubled and gotten a lot better too. ;)
