In case not everyone here reads KC's site, I'll post it here to.

About a month ago, I broke my hand in 7 places. My right hand, my drawing, writing, pc mouse hand. It hurts like a mother. Me and some friends were pulling the engine out of my drag car like we do at the end of every season, and we rebuilt it, all is cool. Well, we were putting it back in, and I had my hand resting the passenger side frame rail, and all of a sudden the jack on the cherry picker took a dump, down came the engine, and landed where? Yep... on my hand. I won't tell you how we got it back off my hand after that, but it included my friend, my truck, and a chain, and some dragging.

We may have to replace the oil pan now, but at least it's off of my paw. It's all back in now, runs great. But I'm still winged. But my hand felt pretty good today, so I went into my folder wanting to build something.

Well, yesterday I bought a new shop truck, a long bed, with an engine that'll get some gas mileage, for racing, and towing the drag car. It has a much smaller engine than my truck now, and has A/C.
My truck now has no creature comforts, my stepside is built for racing off road actually, and has a 468 Chevy big block in it, 4:10 gears in the axles front and rear, full time 4x4, no lock outs.

So I needed me a new tow vehicle, I bought me one, and I'm on vacation for a week, so I tried to build something new, well... I did it. I was just wondering if anyone would dl it if I put it on my site? It is an exact replica of my real truck, except the tires are a tad smaller, and it has a hood on it. It's just a twisted version of what I'd like it to look like.

Just let me know, I'll be 10-10 on the side for awhile, but this really hurt to build, literally. Pain killers are great, I took a few, and I typed all this with 2 fingers, lol.

Here's a pic of it...
Image
If anyone wants it, I'll upload it. If not, I'll keep it for myself, I was just curious. Owwwweee, fingers hurt, gotta run.

Sounds painful. Wondered why you were quiet lately. But it's been a month so hopefully the worst is behind you now.

Meantime, let me give you a hint.

Nice job RF. So you learned something huh? Engines are built heavy and hands aren't built to put under heavy object. hehehe take care of yourself.

I put this on my site, I even made a second version with the hood on it.

Read the "Read Me" to see which is which.

Thanks for the feedback.

Ya know what my favorite part is? Call me crazy but the authentic hub caps really caught my eye lol. I love that kind of detail and don't recall any hubcaps used before in mtm outside of perhaps Cobalts moonies on COWabunga :o)... as for the rest of the trucks detail it's truely one of a kind and a work of art imo.

LOL thought I did that already in the latter part of the O.C.I.R. review.

Dang RF!! So like...does this mean I won't be getting that mod on my truck? You know, installing the mini fridge and the mounting bolts so I can attach my cape? LOL I tell ya man, I got a hangnail the other day and almost went to the emergency room. I can't imagine what it's like to have a freakin engine fall on your hand. Guess we'll have to start calling you "Five Fingers" or something clever huh? LOLOL

Hope you get better soon bud...and you might wanna consider taking up a new hobby, like checkers. That's pretty safe I think lol.

Dip your hand in cold water. Really cold water. Then put ice cubes on it where it hurts. That's always worked for me. Or is this something else?

LOL if an engine falls on your had you're going to need a little more than cold water and ice cubes.

It took the doc 4 hours to put it back together. Once the bones heal, it'll take twice as long for the cuts to heal that he had to make to fix it [sigh].

I can't even pick my nose correctly anymore, it's all messed up, you use one finger for 32 years, and all of a sudden... lmao

I dunno what is more gross, the first or second paragraph. [:P]

I got some pain killers the size of Cadillac hubcaps though. These things are great. I take 2 of these bad boys, and I'm ready to go 5 rounds with Tyson using my bad hand, no pain at all. I keep bumping it on stuff though, good thing it's in a cast. I'll cope somehow.

If it's in a cast, I don't see why you couldn't beat Tyson with a T.K.O., lol. 'Specially if you beef it up with a layer of concrete [:P]

>> pain killers

That reminds me... who remembers this?

A zit, that's all I know.

I've been asked this before, and I heard the story, but that's all I can remember.
