Ok so i am real lazy to read all the pages so i'll just ask directly.

When opening a .pod file with music only (or doesn't matter what pod file as long as there is custom music in it) and you choose to listen the song, can there be a "stop listening" button/option be added? When i tried this, C-Pod gave me that ill sensation that it froze while it actually didn't (i think). The song was still playing and i was able to close it from the task bar and performing an end task (windows was saying program not responding but we all know how reliable that information is).

I didn't waited until the end of the song to see if i regain control over it... but then again i'm lazy. Yeah... poor feedback.

I actually intended for that to be used to hear the name of trucks and such. No stop listning button has been planned because i'm not using a control to play the sounds. I'm using an API to play it directly. Umm. Sorry. Dont listen to wav files with large file sizes.

Thnx for the complements :)

Thought I'd spare myself to agony of sifting thru 6 pages of notes and just pop the question in hopes that it's come up before. Has anyone had the problem where C-Pod minimizes every time you try to open it? I can click on it all day and it'll just open another copy of the program, then going directy to my task bar. LOL weird.

Yes. In the other case it wasn't minimized, it was off screen. It was solved by increasing the screen resolution until you could see it, then moving it to the top left before restoring the res back down...or by right clicking the task bar and selecting move, then using the arrow keys to bring it back into view.

Thanks Phin - I maxed out the res, but still couldn't see the stupid thing lol. Guess I'll try uninstalling it, then reinstalling. If that don't work I'm callin CH...collect lol.

I had that happen once Cope, a reinstall fixed the problem for me.

But now I have a new problem that I haven't been able to solve...

Image

I get that error when I try to perform most cpod functions... podzip, view raw, save as bmp, view .sit or .trk... nothing seems to work anymore and it's weird because I used it hundreds of times before with no problems at all.

Re: starting minimized

C-pod stores the location of where you left it on the screen. If somehow it got off the screen and then closed, it will, when you restart it, briefly come up in the middle of the screen and then go to where it was saved.

  • One way to fix it is to:

Right click on the program's button on the task bar and then click move. Then hit an arrow key, once you have hit an arrow key then your mouse will lock on and when you move the mouse the window will move with it till you click (try it with your browser or notpad to see how it works).
  • Another way is to

Go into the registry editor to:

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\VB and VBA Program Settings\C-POD.1.0.56\Startup

and delete the "left" and "top" keys.

re: the dreaded path not found.

Gotta ask. Did you move it to a different location? Delete the registry entries as mentioned for the minimized problem, but do them all, and start it up. Should be good *crosses fingers*

Glad to help.

For future reference, I made a c-pod registry cleaner to solve this sort of trouble. Get it from the c-pod faq page.

C-Pod. C-Pod problems. Problems, Pod, problems!

I installed the latest version of DirectX and now C-Pod opens but doesn't appear on screen. It shows in the toolbar but nothing else. Did I mess something up?
