...but I'm having trouble converting a full model of a truck so that it can be used as a track prop in traxx (just a truck sitting there is all). I know it can be done but I haven't seen much literature on here and I've been looking for an hour or so everywhere. Could someone enlighten me on this? I keep coming up with a 1024 vert, 0 face blank model that is invisible when i want to insert it into the track.

Try this, Open the truck in binedit, delete the entire body and save the rest as a .bin now reopen the (first) .bin and delete everything but the body. Save the body as a .bin. Now load both .bins into traxx and put the first bin on the track then the put the second (body) .bin on the track. You might have to mess around with getting stuff lined up and getting the body height right but it should work.

Hope it helps...

If the truck is a drivable vehical. In binedit, on the menu > file > import > truck. Now save it using a new name.

another note Robby... any model that has over 1024 vertices will not be visible in traxx, traxx simply will not display models higher than that but it's there. make a pod and you'll see the model in the game where you set it with traxx.
