I've done a repaint of a truck and it's a repaint of bigfoot...
and as the .trk file says "bgfoot.wav" as the sound file I get he commentator screaming "Bigfoot is doing it in the air"

but my trcuk isn't bigfoot...

so I also get "bigfoot and bigfoot are goig head to head"

now im english and can't impersinate the comentators unique american acsent to record my own .wav file...

any one any ideas how I could get the guy to say "LINKIN PARK" or "LP" (said: "e'll Pee" obviously) ? :?:

To change the files click <a href=http://mtm2.com/~d2s/mtm2tute/steps/tutorindex.html>HERE</a> and see the wav info under the TRK file section. It will answer your questions. [;)]

Lol....trust me, even we Americans cannot impersonate Army Armstrong's unique voice and style....

I just searched for and downloaded a free text-to-speech program, and created my own WAV files for creating the voice.

Only the truk's name be spoken in this wav (such as "bigfoot".....the rest of the speech is in a separate generic wav file used on all of the trucks.

NOTE that the wav format must be 8-bit 11 kilohertz mono

Alternately, you can modify an existing WAV, as I did when I found a WAV of the Joker saying "JOKER" at a batman website, and sampled/modified it for use on my truck of the same name.......just use your imagination.

I made some wav files I use on my trucks, that just say "That big ol magnificent monster truck" that I hacked together, and they are not name specific. They work with any truck, no matter what the name is.

That is an option, create your own, no one said that Army has to be the voice saying the name. Find or record your own voice saying Linkin Park, and distort it anyway you want.

I personally have the sound off, cuz after these years of playing this game, Army's voice just gets on my nerves now. Some people like to have it on, it's personal preference.

Just dl any of my trucks, that doesn't have a common name with any of the stock trucks. Michigan Ice Monster comes to mind, I know it has em.

You have my permission. Always glad to help out.

Have a gander at C-pod (or WinPOD or Podview) and you'll see inside the pod.

As for wav files, after posting here back on the 8th I jumped right into the sound pod to see what I could hear, nothing really caught my ear but I was thinking the exact thing that Rep Fan mentioned, and saved a few files. I had the 'magnificent' opened but I flubbed the edit so I skipped it, but these are possibilities:
<a href=http://mtm2.com/~trackville/sound/ourolbud.wav>1</a>, <a href=http://mtm2.com/~trackville/sound/trkmissn.wav>2</a>, <a href=http://mtm2.com/~trackville/sound/wutdheck.wav>3</a>
