....where are they when you need one?

I have an idea but need a few more test subjects for the lab.

Bigdogge or anyone else, if you happen to have some bin models that report unsupported face types or are just plain corrupted that binedit refuses to load could you please send them to me or post them here.

thanks

If you haven't already, you might begin with

ARENA.BIN
ARENA2.BIN
STLITE.BIN

I don't think I kept any copies of the bad BIN.....

If I run across one in the very near future, I'll ship it out right away.

I think I have all I need for now, but your idea sounds interesting to see, go ahead and send whatever you come up with and I'll add it. to the rest of my lab rats

I never thought I'd be asking for broken bins lol, but I have a good reason. :o)

thanks all for the help.

Leg, what programs did you use to convert that model?... and was it the program that caused the corruption or the method? and how did BD fix it?

by taking a look at the binary we were able to determine why binedit saw it as corrupt and subsequently were able to teach BE to fix this sort of problem without you ever even knowing it was corrupted to begin with :o)

Binedit just spat it out......did not like the model...

I loaded it in Zmodeler with no problems, so I exported it as an EVO-1 .SMF model, RE-imported it, then exported it as a BIN file once again....the conversion process seems to have "repaired" the bin face-type to a format Binedit was happy with.

I remember trying to control that car in Gran Turismo 3... it sucks, nice body but sucky handling.
