I don't know why you refuse to do that, but if you ever expect to improve your tracks then you need to go through that at least once... maybe even a few times.
Most importantly for today, this is where you add a backdrop for your track.

Without a backdrop, you get the hall of mirrors effect which pretty much makes any track undrivable. Please start including a backdrop if you want anybody to treat your work seriously. To add one, click the little box with the dots in it [...] right beside where it says backdrop. Then just browse to the one you want. That's all there is to it.
