where can I find the utility to view .raw files from windows explorer? Every link I've tried doesn't work...

Also is there a utility to batch convert a bunch of .raw's to .bmp's which can then be opened in PSP?

Let me help out with the direct link.

Malibu is right about TxRaw. It's great for viewing raw files in windows explorer. It copies them to the clipboard automatically so you can just paste into psp or any paint program.

Also, there is a program called FlyRawGui. It will convert raw files to bmp and then back again. No it wont do a batch, but it's quick and simple to use. Remember to rename the files so you get unique file names.

If you want a complete overview on the subject of Raw & Act files, you will find the most up-to-date info right here. It should be very helpful.

TxRaw (8k)

I contacted GuitarBill in regards to his Txraw utility only supporting images up to 256x256 (4x4evo utilizes 512x512) and he kindly updated it so it now supports the following file sizes, 16x16, 32x32, 64x64, 128x128, 256x256, and 512x512, he also added a title bar that displays the image file name and allows you to move the image around the screen. Version 1.1 (9kb) is now available at the Traxx or T-N-T pages at my site link below...
