**HAUGHT STADIUM 2**

by RobbyH14

"The Stadium Where Dreaming About it Becomes DOING IT!"

This is my best track. Why do I feel confident in saying that? It's not because my other ones were bad...:). It's because this one was special...I had planned on making the ULTIMATE fantasy drag and freestyle track...and I hope that in some ways I succeeded. No other drags I've played on have some of these things in them, no other drags have the sheer area to roam around in, and almost no other drags have a UNIQUE J-style course, including 2 versions-one you can race the computer on for time, and one for drag leagues without checkpoints. I hope that when you play it, you'll believe what you hear. I don't ever like to brag about the tracks I make, so enough about that...:-).
INFORMATION:
Why did I create this track? Just like the first Haught Stadium, I wanted to create a track that everyone in the MTM2 community could enjoy...but in this version in particular, I went all-out...nothing was sacrificed to take shortcuts to finishing it. This is also a dedication to Dennis Anderson, the greatest all-around driver of all time...he goes all-out on the track, so I figured the best way to do him proud was to go all-out making this track. The music is "Bad to the Bone" by George Thorogood and the Delaware Destroyers-what has become known in Monster Jam as "Grave Digger's theme song"...enjoy. You probably shouldn't use high-vert trucks on this track, because it will cause lag...I gave you fair warning. Online racing-wise, it worked out OK on my slow connection with one other truck, so I hope it runs OK with more than that too. In my opinion, this is one of the wildest freestyle tracks out there, and a very unique racing track as well. If you want realism, go download some of my replicas or Slick's or something...lol that's why I call this a FANTASY track.
RACING:
I have included two racing versions of the track, one has checkpoints and is computer-raceable (for offline racers), but ONLY, I repeat, ONLY, if your truck starts out in the lane with the red cars (right lane)...I tried to make the computer trucks give you a challenge, but not be too impossible to beat...they usually run somewhere in the 16's on professional skill level. My best time was a 14.84 without hitting the turning poles...dunno if that'll end up being good or bad. The other version does not have checkpoints (for online). The course goes like this...
From the start line, go over a two-car jump, then land, gain speed, go over a five-car jump, then around a U-turn, down a steep slope, and up another steep slope to a ten-car jump and sail cross the finish line.
FREESTYLE:
If you want a realistic freestyle track...well, this isn't gonna be what you're looking for. There are a TON of things in this track for freestyle, so I will list just some out-of-the-ordinary things:
Portapotties, A backhoe, a huge Titanic-looking ship, a dirt freestyle pyramid, a plane, a Mr. Destruction-style stunt, a bridge, a monster truck, and that isn't even close to half of what's in there...hehe.
