MFR, New bin editor

Post by Jpez1432 »

I probably should post this under utilities, but want to get the word out that I am working on a new bin model editor, it is going to be very similar to BinEdit but is going to be mouse driven. Should make building models quite a bit easier. I'll keep you all posted. Any ideas or enhancements let me know I'll try to incorporate them. It is going to be usefull simply for the fact that there are 5000+ trucks on this site. MTM will never die. That is why I am working on MFR as well. Not sure if I am going to use the tracks from MTM, or an updated version of my engine that uses shaders and is far more efficent. But the trucks for sure will be supported.

What would be great is if you can load up a finished truck and take a picture of it. (right now in BinEdit you have to decompile the .pod file to be able to take a picture).

I realize that's not bin editing but just wondering whether it can be easily implemented.

that sounds too good to be true! If anything, having a Sketchup-like interface would be cool (but I guess that would be a lot of work) and yes indeed, mtm will never die.
