Every time I put a WAV file in my tracks, it doesn't work, so I have to use the stocks. I try different ones, and none of them work.
How do you get yours to work? Please reply back.

No wonder. I've been using Stereo instead of Mono. Let me try that and I'll get back to you if it works/doesn't work.

Ok, I've downloaded a sound recorder that lets me choose my settings in terms of what you just said. I'm going to record a song, and like I said before, I'll get back to you.

Can't. I just bought some AAA batteries, and my dad borrowed about 30.

What sound recorder did you use? The one I got won't let me set the correct hertz/bitrate. If you know, where can I get it?

It's not a sound recorder. I should have said that. It's called Audio Alchemy WAV Edition. Search that on Google. It's a converter. It converts all audio files into WAV.
When you get it, here's how to use it. Select 11khz for Frequency, Mono for Channels, and 8-bit for Bit Depth. It'll be under the heading "uncompressed." The only problem, is that it has a 15 day Trial, then you have to purchase it, so convert as many as you can. It also backs up the file so you can keep the original MP3 or whatever you converted.

you can use CDEX I believe, there are also other programs out there aswell.
One of the tricks I've found is ask around on Linux forums
