Any of you guys know some good events to visit near the westcoast in the period half august untill half september?

Good stuff like the indy500 just a little bit above SF. [:-)]

Hey Scrooch, I just checked Nascar.com and indycar.com. There are 2 races in August in California.

08/24/08 IRL at Infineon Raceway Sonoma, California

08/31/08 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series 500 California Speedway

Is that what you mean by "events"?
